Our CCSN Project
CCSN is providing services at rural level for a decade with good reputation within its limit to the children with special need. It has a good physiotherapy unit working very efficiently and many children has bene- fited from this Centre. Remarkable is monthly visit of a Rotarian professor and other Rotarians responsi- ble for running the Centre. The physiotherapy unit works six days a week at no cost along with counsel- ing and assessment. Referral is made to different hospitals namely MCWH for indoor treatment at free of cost. In spite of so much of good works the Centre did not have few other related services to the total need of the children with special need and thus they had to go to other institutions for many of their needed services like general diseases, occupational therapy, speech therapy, developmental therapy, screening of eye problems, general investigations, and social supports. There is no way besides having a Centre with all support and facility if CCSN wants to provide service to the children with disability.
